- Go to profile Management Tool (PMT).
- You will come to following Screen. Click on launch profile Management Tool.
- You will come to following Screen. Select the Server and click on Create.
- Creating Application Profile. ( You need to select the type of profile you want to create)
Select Type of Profile and click Next.
- You will get Profile Creation Options. Default will be typical profile creation [This will have most of the common setting]. Second will be advanced profile creation [Here you can select your own setting.]
Select advanced profile setting and click
next.
- You will come to following screen. Select both the Check boxes and click next.
- You will come to following screen, where you need to select Profile Name and Location and click Next.
- You will come to following screen. Click next button.
- Now you will come to Administrative Security. Here you can provide user Id and Password and click next.
- Next you will come to Security part 1. This portal allows you to create a new certificate or import existing certificate.
- Now you will come to Security Part 2. The second Panel is used to modify the certificate information. Review the expiration period and provide a new password. Default password is WebAS
- Next you will get a set of Port values. Click on Next.
- Next you will come to Windows Service Definition. When you create a profile on a windows system, you have the option of running the application server as a windows service. This provides you a simple way of automatically starting the server process when system starts.
- Next you will come to Web server definition. This is optional.
- Specify next information for Web server definition.
- At the end it will give you Profile creation summary.
- Click on Create. It will start creation as follows.
- At the end you will come to following place.
How
to Verify Profile?
- Open console URL (Use your Console URL)
- Go to Servers --> Server Types --> Websphere application servers
A) You should be able to see the
application server in the list.
B) Verify Enterprise applications
Go to Applications --> Application Types --> Websphere
enterprise applications.
You should see a list of applications.
